YouTube and Fox announced Friday that the companies have reached an agreement to make Fox News, Fox Sports and other Fox channels available on YouTube TV after negotiations on a new distribution deal.
The companies have reached short-term expansion earlier to prevent YouTube TV subscribers from being interrupted.
“We are pleased to have a deal to provide service value to subscribers,” YouTube said in a statement shared with CNBC. letterand FOX did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
YouTube said on Monday that Fox asked for payments “a lot higher than partners that provide comparable content.”
This is Fox One, the independent streaming service launched last week, costing $19.99 per month or selling for $199.99 per year.
Due to the consequence of the standoff, YouTube warned that it could remove the Fox broadcast network, Fox News and Fox Sports from its platform by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Youtube TV subscribers can see that YouTube TV missed the highly anticipated college football game between the top-ranked national champion in Texas and the dominant national champion and the third-ranked Ohio State, which could be the start of the National Football League season early next month.
Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr weighed Friday and was pleased that the two companies had reached an agreement.

YouTube TV pays broadcasters like Fox to stream channels and has about 9.4 million subscribers.
In addition to American football, Fox also hosts Major League Baseball Tournaments and the World Series scheduled to begin in late October.
The basic plan for YouTube TV is $82.99 per month, which includes over 100 live channels.
According to Nelson, YouTube is the leading media distributor in the U.S., with TV viewing in July exceeding 13% in terms of audience engagement.
