Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have been co-hosting daytime talk shows since 2023. However, Ripa, who has been permanent co-host since 2001, has been absent this week, and guests have stepped in.

Ripa is not here Living with Kelly and Mark This week, because she went out for summer vacation. She last appeared on Friday, August 1st.
Ripa took a few weeks off in her and Consuelos' new ESPN documentary until she had a few weeks off, Run with the wolfpremiered on July 29. Following the journey of Ripa and Consuelos, the documentary is the new co-owner of ESPN's popular Italian football team.
The same week, Ripa appeared on Kellie Kelce's podcast Won't lie to Kelly Kels.

Although Ripa isn't on the show this week, her co-host has recently taken a break from herself. In the July 29 episode, Ripa told audience Consuelos to “have a show in Los Angeles”
The rest of the week included the hosts of the spin guest, including actor Jerry O'Connell, ABC anchor David Moore, reality TV star Carson Cresley and broadcaster Steve Patterson.
After the guest co-hosted, Kressley posted a photo with Ripa on Instagram, writing: “Living for @livekellyandmark. Thanks to @kellyripa @gelmanlive and the entire amazing team because I always make me feel like family!”
Meanwhile, Patterson co-hosted a clip from his episode on his Instagram, writing: “Thanks for all the love this week. Thanks for the opportunity. I can never thank @kellyripa and @gelmanlive for the invitation to come back enough.

Just like when Consuelos left the table, the guest's co-host filled the Ripa in her absence. This week begins a pre-recorded plot co-hosted by Tohn.
Before the episode aired, Tohn shared a behind-the-scenes clip on her Instagram writing: “List at 9am tomorrow at 9am (check your local list) … but only if you want to see me is one of the best days of my life. @livekellyandmark.”
This episode introduces Tohn to Consuelos, who jokes that she likes to call herself “Kelly Ripov”.
