But hey – long-tired Ozzie Albies hit a few home runs and drove nine points. What is that!

🤩 Throwing: Mr. Acuña started a flat throw from the depths of his right hand from the weekend – and nailed the Yankee Runner at the third base (should be sliding all the time). It quickly became popular…and made at least one comparison with the legendary Roberto Clemente.
🤩Home Run: During Sunday's 4-2 loss, Acuña launched a 456-foot home run that almost hit the batsman. This inspired Bonkers statistics from Major League Baseball's Sarah Langs:
- Acuña now has 25 professional home runs at least 450 feet.
- This has been more than anyone else since the beginning of 2018.
This man basically missed two whole seasons!
🤩Real News: Third baseman Austin Riley is eligible for the injury list tomorrow. Despite nothing promised in either way, Acuña still has the opportunity to continue to occupy third place in Jurickson Profar and Matt Olson.
- Manager Brian Snitker said: “I kind of like him. I like that top three. I think it's good. I always imagine he's that guy and we'll see it.
Sunday horror
As for the unpleasant statistics: you are not imagining things. Every Sunday, the Brave does lose almost the loss.
According to the team:
- The Braves are now losing nine games in a row. They have not won the championship since May 18.
- Overall, they are 3-13. That's the worst in baseball.
- Atlanta had nine of the Sunday games in tandem rubber games. Eight are losses.
Very ugly stuff.

Marcell Ozuna competes on Sunday. But he is no longer the regular designated hitter for the Brave.
If you need further proof that the Braves are committed to playing Sean Murphy and Drake Baldwin almost every day, that's to use that DH location, and that seems to have arrived just a while ago – when the team called the third receiver Sandy Leon, from a minor.
🤔Other that, Ozuna's future in Atlanta is still a bit dark.
Despite his poor performance in the past few months, the Murphy/Baldwin tandem and expiring contracts may make him the most likely courage to trade before next week’s deadline. (The other, more recent Raisel Iglesias, surrendered four times on Saturday).
But Ozuna said he left all of this to his agent and the front desk for the Brave: “It's not my business. I just want to join the team that is happening right now, and no matter what happens, I can't control it. I control the day. I'm happy to control myself every day and (with good energy) and do my best.”

The Braves and Major League Baseball officially launched the August 2 Racing Classic uniform at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee…definitely!
The NASCAR numbers are interesting, Grant Holmes was born with that hat. However, the helmet is a bit busy.
