Coco Gauff fired her main coach, a decision that would be under scrutiny in the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.
Her new coach, Gavin Macmillan, is a biomechanical expert, and hopes she can help her solve the ongoing service.
Gauff's third-placed seed will be in a singles match against nameless Australian Ajla Tomljanovic on Tuesday, August 26, at the location where the Americans won her first Grand Slam title. Gauff, 21, won the U.S. Open in 2023. Last year, she lost in 16 rounds, but there was no reason for doom and melancholy in early export and service issues.
She won the French Open in June, beating the ranking Aryna Sabalenka in three finals. It is worth mentioning that Gauff's new coach Macmillan has previously helped Sabalenka serve.
