Roland Mehrez Beainy, the owner of Trump’s burger restaurant recently opened in Houston, is currently facing deportation, failing to leave the United States on time and being arrested by U.S. immigration and customs enforcement.
Ice confirmed that Beainy, 28, originally from Lebanon, entered the United States on a non-immigrant visitor visa in 2019, but failed to depart before February 12, 2024.
He was arrested on May 16, 2025 and was included in the immigration process. An immigration judge awarded him bonds on June 13, and his case continues.
A spokesperson for ICE said in a statement: “Although the contrary claims are wrong, Roland Mehrez Beainy has no immigration benefits, preventing any immigration benefits he was arrested or removed from the United States. He was appointed on May 16, 2025 as an immigration lawsuit on June 13.
Under the current government, ICE is committed to restoring the integrity of our country’s immigration system by putting all individuals illegally into the country or exceeding its admission clauses. It's true no matter which restaurant you own or the political beliefs you might have. ”
Trump Burger, known for its politically themed brand, celebrated its grand Houston opening on April 19 at 3410 Chimney Rock Road. This is the fourth location in the Houston area, joining attractions in Kemah, Bellville and Flatonia.
