West Sacramento, California – Track and Field Designated Second Baseman Luis Urias took the mission while recalling three Las Vegas-based Zack Gelof to the same position.
Gelof started on the injury list for a year after his right hand surgery on March 24. This will mark his second position at the club. He returned to A-eight games on July 4 before being drafted for Las Vegas, where he made .259 with 11 home runs and 28 RBI hits.
Urias signed a $1.1 million one-year contract with the team in February. He scored 83 in second base and five more in third base, hitting .230 in 96 games in the final A game.
