State health officials warn of potential measles exposure

The New York Department of Health warned that potential measles exposure at two hospitals in the capital.

The two hospitals are Albany Medical Center and Saratoga Hospital.

An adult patient in Vermont sought treatment at two hospitals ahead of confirmed cases of measles, DOH officials said.

They say that person has been traveling internationally recently.

Health officials also said the risk of infection is low.

However, they urged people in the emergency room of Saratoga Hospital on July 14 to contact the hospital directly.

People in the Albany Medical Center emergency room on July 16 have been contacted.
