Son Heung Min made an immediate impact at LAFC, winning less than 20 minutes of free throws on his debut bench to help his new team draw 2-2 on Saturday at the Chicago Fire.

The South Korean star, who was occupied only three days after blocking the $26 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur's MLS record, was knocked down by Chicago defender Carlos Terán as he rushed into the end of the pass and clearly saw the goal.

Although no free throw was initially awarded, referee Ricardo Montero pointed out the scene after Var's intervention. The team's top scorer of the season, Denis Bouanga, converted the free throw into a share of points in Bridgeview, Illinois in the 81st minute.

“It's a great pass, there's certainly a connection, and there's no doubt that it's definitely a fine,” the son said.

“A little disappointed, didn't score three points, but I think everyone put in a lot of effort and I'm glad I made my debut and I hope the goal will be achieved as soon as possible.”

It was the second time LAFC came from behind in the game, with Ryan Hollingshead's header canceling the opening goal of the first half of Teran before Jonathan Bamba put the fire in the 70th minute.

It completed the whirlwind for his son for seven days. He sent an emotional farewell to Tottenham on Sunday after a decade after the pre-season. He landed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, officially unveiling the LAFC's League Cup defeat to Tigres Uanl on the second day, including the city's mayor Karen Bass and other Luminaries in a passionate event the next day.

However, it was on the scene that his son, who scored 173 goals in 454 games in 10 years for the Spurs, could do most of his speeches.

He immediately fell into a huge move in Saturday's MLS operation after obtaining his visa on Friday night.

Despite announcing that she was perfectly arriving, the son had to wait until the 61st minute to enter one of the biggest arrivals in MLS history.

Things didn't go immediately with Bamba scoring quickly putting Chicago ahead. The home team also almost expanded the lead, but his son's former Tottenham teammate Hugo Lloris intervened in the goal, and then the position went to great lengths.

Immediately probation, the LAFC suddenly appeared in the attack. Nathan Ordaz fed the ball and his son forward, showing the speed and direct running that made him a global star, first of all, only fouls can stop his potential targets in black and gold.

This will wait at least another week when the Western Conference rose to fifth place LAFC visited the New England Revolution.

The son added: “I’m getting ready and it’s my 30-minute preparation for my legs. “So, we’ll see how I’ve improved in my training sessions and how I’ve improved with the players and we’ll see if I can start the game next week and make a big impact.” ”
