Red has the opportunity to reconnaise sneaky trade suitable for national

  • by admin

The Cincinnati Reds just won the series against the New York Mets and headed to our country’s capital to accept the Washington Nationals. The Naths are clearly the seller with the MLB trade deadline approaching, and the Reds will have a close and personal view of some of Washington's highest assets.

While the Nationals don’t want a core deal with young players, Washington has an outfielder on the roster who will be a perfect fit for the Reds’ roster. Alex Call recently took on the reserve role, and he could be a brilliant upgrade for the Reds when he sought other help in the outfield.

This season, the call hit rate was .275/.375/.379, with only two home runs and 21 RBIs. The 30-year-old has been forced to share the game time in Washington field with James Wood, Daylen Lile, Jacob Young and Dylan crew members in recent weeks after releasing a .950 OPS in 30 games last season.

Reds have a chance to reconnaise national outfielder Alex and MLB trade deadlines are imminent

CALL is perfect for what Cincinnati is looking for during the MLB trade deadline. While some fans would like to see the Reds home runs at the front desk and trade for players like Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran, Cincinnati is more likely to make some smaller upgrades to the bench and bullpen.

Call, the third round pick for the Chicago White Sox in 2016, is still eligible for the qualifying round and will not reach free agents until after the 2029 season. Call has had a lot of success with left-handed pitching – the Reds struggled this season. Call has a .349/.394/.492 slash against the Southpaws this season, with a .769 career against Southpaws.

The Reds recently started experimenting in the right areas over the weekend – the Third Baseman played in the outfield for the first time Sunday against the Mets. The supplemental call will allow Reds manager Terry Francona to string him in the right field along with Jake Fraley and Will Benson, which will eliminate Marte's position against the left-handed pitcher.

Reds fans may want to keep an eye on the phone during the upcoming series against Nats. He may be wearing a red uniform by the end of the month.
