The former AJ fighter strikes again. With his reputation as one of the most aggressive general managers of MLB, Preller paid a high price to acquire one of the most electric weapons in Miller (controlled until 2029) and received the durable SEARS (controlled to 28) in SEARS, sending De Vries (MLB Pipeline the Beconal Liepeline the Bessellies the Attry Proppect) to athletes. Major League Baseball (MLB) dominance speed king Miller has used most of his major league tenure as a relief player, but reports suggest that the Padres can turn the 26-year-old into a rotation at some point. Padres also returned to Sears, who had 4.59 ERAs (95 games) in 96 games in track and field uniforms. In addition to De Vries, A has also gained the prospects of Padres' 3 (Nett), No. 13 (Baez) and No. 17 (Nuñez).
In Absolute Shock, Correa returns to Houston a few years after leaving the club for free-agent twins. The long-term shortstop is expected to play third base, filling the gap left by injured Isaac Paredes. Correa's six-year deal lasts until 2028, including three club options, had to give up his no-trade clause to rejoin the Astros. Correa struggled for the twins this season (92 OPS+), but he was a lifetime .275/.352/.465 batsman (124 OPS+), thriving under the bright lights of October.
Instead of bypassing this deadline, the sailors wielded for Suarez and Josh Naylor from the D-backs to strengthen their offense. Suárez is in his career year, beating 36 home runs with OPS of 0.896 in 106 games and being at the D-back before the trade. This is Suarez's second game in Seattle as he spent the 2022-23 season with the Mariners, reaching 53 home runs in 312 games. In return, the sailors sent D-backs locklear (Sailor No. 9 prospect of MLB Pipeline), Cranton (16) and Burgos (17).
One of the hottest names in the rescuer market is board members as the Phillies adds a lot of firepower to the bullpen in the form of Duran, who brings him three-digit fastball speed and something secondary. Duran hit 2.01 ERA with 53 innings strikeouts in the Twins 49 1/3 of the season. Tait, the fourth-ranked Phillies Phillies, is an 18-year-old defender who was recently promoted to High-A. Abel ranked second in the Philadelphia system a few years after being selected and then dropped to sixth place, but he continued to show improvement, earning a 2.31 ERA in 2025 as a 23-year-old in Triple-A in 2025.
Devin Williams’s fight was a battle between the Yankees’ Yankees’ Closer and New York’s overall bullpen release in July that required major action on the late arms, and the Bronx Bombers were able to achieve that by landing in Bednar. (They also acquired Camilo Doval and Jake Bird.) The two-time All-Star team won 5.77 ERA in 2024 and was sent to Triple-A earlier this year, but he rebounded to 16 saves and 50 K hits and the last 39 appearances at 1.70 ERA. Flores and Perez are Yankees 8 and 14 prospects respectively.
After watching Al West Rival Astros (Carlos Corre, Jesús Sánchez) and Mariners (Eugenio Suárez, Josh Naylor), the Rangers made their own sensation shortly before the trade deadline. Kelly, an open free agent with 3.22 ERA in 22 games with the D-Backs in 2025, will provide the Rangers with an excellent three-man starter to lean on the game after inserting behind Jacob Degrom and Nathan Eovaldi.
After acquiring Tyler Rogers from the Giants earlier in the day, the Mets remained focused on improving the bullpen with lasers, reaching a deal for Helsley. Hullsley's Cardinal this season has a 3.00 ERA and 41 K game in 36 innings, and he has a high octane four-slit fastball but leans against the wipe slider. Despite his handling of some inconsistent periods, he won only one match in St. Louis’s last 11 games, dating back to June 19 (0.82 ERA in 11 IPs). Both Baez and Dohm rank in the Pipeline’s Top 30 MetS prospects, with Baez ranked 8th and DOHM ranked 14th; Elissalt was the 19th round pick in the 2024 draft and was recently promoted to High-A.
Bieber is the 2020 American League Youth Award winner and has not competed in major league games since April 24. But he is about to return to professionalism after Tommy John's surgery. As part of Major League Baseball (MLB) survey of sports betting, right-handers are increasingly likely to be traded in the All-Star Game. With his track record, Bieber gave another starter to the Blue Jays to win the playoff series. Bieber also has the option of leaving his $16 million player option (a $4 million buyout) after 2025, '26. Stephen is the second round pick in 2024 and is the No. 5 prospect in every MLB pipeline in Toronto.
After a sensational deal for pitchers Mason Miller and JP Sears in a blockbuster deal with A and resolving their catch gaps by reaching a deal with Freddy Fermin’s royal family, Padres completed his third deal of the day, landing a pair of bats from Baltimore. O'Hearn (13 HR, 135 OPS+) and Laureano (15 hours, 145 OPS+) are the two best batsmen of O's season and should bring much-needed improvements to San Diego's top roster.
Although the Yankees ended up with McMahon while searching for third basemen with D-backs slugger eugeniosuárez, who hit 16 home runs for the Rockies this season and has hit the Class 20 mark every year since 2021. Suarez is a free agent after this season. Herring and Gross are Yankee 8 and 21 prospects respectively.
By acquiring Naylor, the Mariners added an important bat to the lineup where they were needed. In 93 games against the D-Backs — his first year in Arizona — Naylor had 0.807 OPS and 11 home runs. Naylor's career was .267/.329/.444 batsman with 95 hits. In exchange, Seattle sent Garcia to Garcia (Sailor 13 prospect of MLB Pipeline) and Izzi (No. 16).
Need rotational help, the Red Sox won May, and his injury history is long but has been persistent this year. The 27-year-old right-hander made 19 appearances (18 games) for the Dodgers this season, posting a record of 4.85 ERA in an unbalanced battle. Meanwhile, TIBBS is the No. 5 prospect for every Major League Baseball (MLB) pipeline in Boston. The 22-year-old outfielder was acquired by the Red Sox from the Giants, a deal that brought Rafael Devers to San Francisco, was the 13th pick in the 2024 draft and released a .763 OPS this season with 13 home runs between High-A and Double-A. Ehrhard, also 22, is Boston's 27th potential client and released a .270/.371/.434 slash line with nine home runs and 23 steals between High-A and Double-A in the Red Sox system.
The twins traded close to Jhoan Duran a day after they shipped the guy Jax out. Rays are the beneficiary, landing a right-hander who misses the elite-level bat. Jax doesn't have the kind of dominant season that he did last year – his 4.50 ERA is more than double the 2.03 points last year – but he has been under team control in 2027 and has met the Tampa Bay bullpen in desperate need of reinforcements. In return, the 24-year-old Bradley, the former highest prospect twin, has started 67 games for the Rays over the past three seasons. Bradley has reached 4.61 against major league clubs this season and has been recently relegated to Triple-A Durham.
After trading one of David Bednar's most important closing players in the market, the Yankees added another top close at Doval. The 28-year-old 28-year-old has 15 saves from right hand, 3.09 ERA and strike out in 30 innings of 47 innings this season. Doval has also been under control of the team until 2028. The Yankees have now pushed the bullpen for the playoffs, with Bednar, Doval, Devin Williams, Luke Williams and Tim Hill all late picks in the late stages.
The two Rogers twins traded on the same day as the Mets continued to add long-term relief corps members of the Giants and continued to lift their bullpen. Rogers made 53 MLB senior matches at the trade with their unconventional submarine delivery, releasing a 1.80 ERA with a 0.86 whip in 50 innings. Buttó, 27, has been a reliable member of the Mets bullpen for most of the past two seasons and has an ERA of 3.64 innings for the Mets in 2025; Tidwell and Gilbert are ranked 10th and 12th in the MetS system by MLB Pipeline, respectively.
This is a surprising move considering the Reds’ move, as they have better rotation rates in baseball games, so Hunter Greene should be welcomed soon. After Littell broke through in 2024, ERAs of the season (133 1/3 innings) won 3.58 ERAs in 22 games and 3.63 ERAs in 29 starts (156 1/3 innings) with the right hand. Littell is just part of a larger three-team deal, and the industry sees the Rays get a pair of players and the Dodgers get three.
The day after the Phillies landed closer Jhoan Duran from the twins, the two sides once again connected a smaller deal, which was filled with Philadelphia’s demand for right-wing outfielders. It turns out that Bader is a one-year contract twin, offering more crimes than expected (12 hours, .778 OPS) and continues to play a strong defense in the midfield. Mendez is Philadelphia's 12th prospect. Villoria will turn 17 on August 17 and recently made her debut at the rookie level.
The Mets reportedly talked to the White Sox about Luis Robert Jr. while searching for a Central Field upgrade.
Despite being closely related to the Yankees Reds, the Reds chose a more affordable option, with third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes, who received Gold Gloves from their division rivals. Despite being a talented infielder, Hayes never managed to meet expectations on the other side of the ball and reached .236/.279/.290 (59 OPS+) (59 OPS+) when he was traded to Cincinnati. Shortstop Stafura was ranked 9th in the Cincinnati system by MLB Pipeline, and the 34-year-old Rogers enjoyed another good year in the bullpen, winning a 2.45 ERA for the Reds in 33 innings.
The Yankees bought Caballero from the Rays…in the game against the Rays. Caballero just needs to move from one canoe to another. The 28-year-old injected speed and defensive versatility into the Bronx Bombers. Caballero led the Major League lead this season with 34 stolen bases, leading the AL with 44 steals a year ago. And, he can play anywhere around the infield and outfield. During the 2029 season, Caballero has been under the control of the team.
