McWay opens again, Abbott says in St. Kitts

Australia has only one change and they hope to end the T20I series on the West Indies

Australia recalls Sean Abbott as Mitch Marsh was elected to the bowl for the third straight game, as his team attempted to end a series of wins against the West Indies in St Kitts’ third T20 international match.

Spinner Matt Kuhnemann makes way for Abbott, suggesting Australia believes that the fresh Warner Park Surface in Basseterre will be more conducive to bowling in the first of three games on the petite venue, with the maximum boundary size of today's matches of 69m.

Glenn Maxwell and Captain Mitch Marsh listed, as he did in the T20 International for the fourth time in his last match Tuesday.

West Indies: Brandon King, Shai Hope (c, wk), Roston Chase, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Shelfarne Rutherford

Australia: Mitchell Maxwell, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis (week), Cameron Green, Tim David, Mitchell Owen, Cooper Connolly

It's his first record-breaking 154 goals in MCG's 64 vs. Hurricanes in January 2022, and it remains the highest score of KFC BBL.

He also recorded his highest T20 international score at the top of the order, beating 145 out of 65 goals against Sri Lanka in 2016.

Although he finished fourth in most of his T20 career, Maxwell’s best position (international and domestic combined) has been at the 36-year-old all-around average of 44 and hit the highest order on orders with a 176-plus career average (27.79).

His strike rate (175.53) is also better than his career strike rate (154.49) facing 23 runs per 100 goals against new balls.

Inglis was listed as the last match and then opened on the team table before Australia's unexpected conversion, and after his game player 78 was not eliminated from 33 balls, he hoped to “make the number 3 by himself (his)” for Australia, which is his average highest (39.25) (39.25) and the fastest size in the T20 format (39.25).

Inglis revealed after the second T20 that Maxwell opened partly because of the fight against Akeal Hosein's left arm spin, who won the first in 44 of his 72 T20 international matches and the West Indies' past five matches.

Australia has never played the T20 international in St Kitts, with the last three T20Is completing a five-game winning streak, with the latest team of their seven ODIs in 2016 at Eastern Caribbean Island.

“I don't usually hit the bomb like that”: Inglis

However, despite the small boundary, the average score hit rate in Warner Park's T20 International Games was 133.5, and on that field, all T20 games increased to 163.5, including the Caribbean Premier League games.

Abbott returned to the starting XI after hitting 1-40 in the series last Sunday, while Kuhnemann returned a 0-33 figure in four games of his second T20 debut.

Retired Allrounder Andre Russell exited the West Indies in the third T20, with the left-arm fast Jediah Blades making its debut after experienced seaman Alzarri Joseph took part in all three tests and the first two T20Is.

Right-arm bowler Romario Shepherd is the host's second inclusivity.

Australia led 2-0 after three matches and eight-goal wins in Jamaica and could win another victory in today's match, the third consecutive T20 series beat the West Indies.
