Just in time for Seattle Seahawks Season 50, the lighting field in their home is adding extra credit to their resume.
Lumen Field was named the Best NFL Stadium champion and the Best NFL Stadium in the 2025 U.S. 2025 Best NFL Stadium, the 10 best Reader's Choice Award.
This is the second “Best NFL Stadium Award” in three seasons, of which Lumen Field won in 2023. Lumen Field is home to new technologies, which makes it one of the best. A few seasons ago, Lumen Field and Seahawks announced their plans to modernize and upgrade various areas of the stadium over the next three years through Fanovation (through the commitment of fans to innovate first). Additionally, in 2023, Lumen Field launched their new food and beverage program called Home Taste Advantage, another addition to the enhancement and innovation of the fan experience. The latest additions to the stadium include updated suites and premium spaces, a professional store remodel and a brand new Toyota fan deck statistics board.
In addition to having the best stadiums, Lumen Field offers three Seahawk legendary kitchens, Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor’s Legion, Walter Jones’ Big Walt’s Kitchen and Chancellor’s Bam Bam Smash Burger. Lumen Field prioritizes quality food and offers a variety of options and procurement from local suppliers within a three-mile radius of the stadium.
Not only the stadium itself, making Lumen Field the best NFL stadium, but it’s a fan-known as the 12S, they created the identity of the Lumen Field and are one of the loudest stadiums.
“It's nice to be back in Lumen (Field),” Mike MacDonald said after the preseason in August. “Thinking that the 12s were really great for the preseason. The place was swaying.”
