Kyle Schwarber, the new National League home run leader, emphasizes the striker.

The Philadelphia Phillies hosted the Baltimore Orioles Monday night when Schwarber bypassed the 93mph fastball from Cade Povich and soared it to the night. The ball put Schwarber's bats at 110.9 mph to get 427 feet of bats into the third set of decks at Citizen Bank Park.

That was Schwarber's 39th home run, breaking the tie with Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani to become No. 1 in the National League. The game changed a little after the Arizona Diamondbacks traded Eugenio Suarez to the Seattle Mariners, removing him from the game.

Schwarber's home run tied 3-3 at the bottom of the third inning as the new-looking Phillies hoped to be number one in NL East.
