Jayden Daniels Confident Commander, Star WR Terry McLaurin Will End Stallion

Pro Bowl's extensive receiver Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commander are still locked in the deadlock, a long-running legend that is the team's decisive offseason storyline.

But quarterback Jayden Daniels is not worried. In fact, he said he was confident of reaching an agreement.

Daniels told sports'S Dianna Russini is in the latest episode of “Scoop City”, which will drop on Friday.

When asked why he was confident that his top receiver would be back on the field, Daniels said: “I just know that everything will be settled, both sides will come to an agreement and Terry will be back here. We'll throw him some passes.”

Daniels and McLaurin built instant chemistry last season, with McLaurin having a 12-high 13 touchdowns in his second Pro Bowl over the past three years.

McLaurin asked for a deal on July 31, sports The report said he hopes to receive DK Metcalf (an average annual salary of $33 million) on a four-year contract signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this year.

If McLaurin exceeds the average annual value, that would put him in the top four of the recipients (Ja'marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Ceedee Lamb and Metcalf).

In an interview with Russini, the 24-year-old Daniels also talked about his relationship with his defensive teammates and how his presence helped balance the veteran’s heavy locker room.

“I think you have to ask them personally, but I think they like being around me,” he said, “because I'm young.”

Washington opened its season against NFC East rival New York Giants on September 7.
