British singer-singer FKA Twigs and Hollywood actor Shia Labeouf have reached a deal in a 2020 abuse lawsuit.
FKA Twigs' real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, who accused her ex-partner of physical, psychological and emotional abuse.
Their attorney confirmed the settlement in a joint statement, but said the details would be “kept private.”
Labeouf has previously said many of the allegations against him were incorrect, but apologized for the harm he caused.
The settlement ended a case that had been delayed for five years but had little progress.
According to legal documents seen in Us Weekly, Barnett asked the court to bias all the claims against Labeouf, meaning she would not be able to supplement it in the future.
The trial was initially set last year, but was later postponed.

On Tuesday, Barnett's attorney Bryan Freedman and Labeouf's attorney Shawn Holley said both sides want each other to be happy.
“We have agreed to establish constructive avenues and we have agreed to resolve the case out of court,” they said in a statement.
“While the details of the reconciliation will remain private, we hope for happiness, professional success and peace between each other in the future.”
The two met on the scene of the 2018 film Honey Boy and were in nine months' history before splitting in 2019 with a contradictory work schedule.
But in the legal documents filed in 2020, Barnett accused LaBeouf of “ruthless abuse”, including “mental and verbal harassment”, which eventually turned into “physical violence.”
She details the incident where Labeouf wakes her up in the middle of the night and “stranges” her, throws her in a car during the argument, and gets angry while talking to other men.
In 2021, FKA Twigs talks about her relationship with the actors on the BBC Radio 4 podcast on Louis Theroux
Barnett was interviewed on Labeouf’s BBC Radio 4 Ground Podcast in 2021 with Louis Theroux Podcast, and suffered ongoing psychological trauma from their relationship.
“I left it to PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder] From this, it's just I think we're not actually saying what we as a society are really talking about when we leave and how much work we need to do to recover in order to get back to the people who were before you. ” she said at the time.
Labeouf had previously told The New York Times that many of Barnet's allegations were not true [for me to] Accept the responsibility for what I do. ”
He added in another statement: “For years, I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me. I have a history that hurts those closest to me. I am ashamed of that history and regrets the people I have been hurt. I have nothing to say.”
Barnett released her latest album Eusexua earlier this year and has received several honors, including two nominations for the UK’s Best Female Solo Artist.
Labeouf's latest movie is this year's crime drama Henry Johnson. He is known for the Transformers series and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skulls.
