renew: Atlanta signed practice teams for offensive tackles Ryan Hayes and Carter Warren on Thursday morning. These moves have helped strengthen the job group affected by injuries in recent weeks. The two players brought the Falcons' practice lineup to 15 players in total, with Krieg as an exception. Therefore, the team can fill a remaining position.
Like Tuesday’s initial roster, Wednesday’s practice team wasn’t in a difficult situation. Both will change throughout the season.
The Falcons in each game will be able to advance two players from practice teams to active rosters. Players are allowed three altitudes per season. The fourth altitude will require players to sign a 53-man lineup.
Editor's Note: The story was updated on Thursday, August 28 at 11:29 am ET to reflect the signing of the two latest practice teams.
