Floss, Georgia – The Atlanta Falcons locked in the right tackle position over the next few seasons and signed Kaleb McGary for a two-year extension.
McGary's agent Collin Roberts told ESPN's Adam Schefter the deal is worth $30 million
McGary, 30, is known for his ability to run, but now has to cover 6-foot-6-foot, 330-pound left-hand quarterback Michael Penix Jr. who was selected by the Falcons with the 31st pick in 2019.

When asked two weeks ago that there is no contract after this year, McGary said he wasn't too worried about it and focused on the 2025 season.
“Trust me, you'll never find someone who's more willing to be paid,” McGary said. …”I'm not really worried. I'm worried about this season, if I'm not doing well enough, there's not much reason to worry about it. So, I'm just one thing at a time. That's all.”
McGary had a bone spur on her left ankle and completed the range during the offseason. He missed OTA and small training camp due to injury but has returned to training camp completely.
“I don't know I've felt good for a long time,” McGary said.
Continuity on the offensive line is a top priority for the Falcons, with Pro Bowl right-back Chris Lindstrom and Stalwart left tackle Jake Matthews signed in 2028. Left back Matthew Bergeron has two seasons left in his rookie contract and Ryan Neuzil, Ryan Neuzil and Ryan Neuzil, replacing Drow Dalman, who started at center and locked in Drow drow Dalman in 20266.
