Failed Lions will tear it apart after reuniting with old coach

  • by admin

The Detroit Lions suffered a regular season injury due to injuries and fell under several minor bodies. This has resulted in veterans being increased to fill the gap until regular contributors are healthy enough to resume playoffs.

Naturally, throwing new faces into high pressure situations to close the regular season results, and the results are mixed. Despite his impressiveness, a veteran is a complete non-factor, getting the walk document after just two starts on defense.

Now, Jamal Adams hopes to revive his career in the AFC West once again to become a member of the Las Vegas Raiders. While the only real reason for his signing seems to be his connection to Seattle Seahawks new head coach Pete Carroll, Vincent Bonsignore of Las Vegas Review Magazine reported that the veteran safety security appeared to be part of an early contributor to the camp.

Jamal Adams in @Raiders camp. Just a cannon, in Pass Rush, and then blinked to get there from here.

Failed Lions Will Increase Jamal Adams vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Needless to say, standing out in a controlled practice environment is also a big difference when competing with another team in a real game. If Adams can go back the clock and get close to his former players, it would be a big win for the Raiders and Pete Carroll.

On the other hand, if it's a distortion and Adams is no different from the fans seen by Detroit in a brief treatment with the Lions, there's no real reason for Motor City to think of Adams again, especially given the message sent by his deal with Las Vegas was agreed.

Before joining the Lions to end the 2024 regular season, Adams was a member of the Tennessee Giants and had to ask him to release after seeing the team’s reserve/non-football injury roster after seeing just 20 of three games. Adams wasn't good after arriving in Detroit. He recorded only three tackles in two games before being released on January 1, 2025.

Given that Adams suffered a quarter-tenes battle in Week 1 of the 2022 campaign, his former head coach did not show up for safety reasons.

As the rest of the league begins this weekend’s preseason schedule, the entire football community will see faster than what Adams left in the tank later, and whether this signing is worth it or bust, just like his time with the Lions.
