“Today” meteorologist Dylan Dreyer posted a photo with her husband Brian Fichera and her three sons after announcing the couple's split this month.
Meet Dylan Drell's family
Dylan Dreyer is the 43-year-old “Today” star, while Fichera, 38, got married in 2012 and is the parents of three sons: Calvin, Oliver and Rusty.
Hello! – March 12
“Today” meteorologist Dylan Dreyer and her husband Brian Fichera may have obvious skies after announcing their breakup.
After announcing the couple's separation earlier this month, the third-hour co-host went on Instagram on July 29 to share photos of the couple on a family vacation with their three sons (Calvin, Oliver and Rusty).
“Find happiness in the things around you, take a deep breath and count to 10. You will soon find yourself living under the sunny sky again.” Dreyer captioned the 2021 children’s book “Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day.” Dreyer's friend and third-hour colleague Al Roker commented “Wow!” from his neck on the photo.
Dreyer isn't on this week's “Today” due to her Turkish and Caicos' holiday, but has not publicly split the couple on the NBC Morning series.
Dreyer, 43, and Fichera, 38, ended in 2012. Dreyer joined NBC News in September of that year.
The NBC meteorologist announced the couple's separation in an Instagram post hours after the show, writing a photo of the sunset, “I've shared with you my family over the years – highs and lows, ups and downs, all the blessings and wonderful memories in between.”
“So, I want to share with you the decision that Brian and I decided to separate a few months ago,” Dreyer wrote. “We started as friends and we will be the closest friends. Most importantly, we will continue to share parents with three amazing boys with nothing but love and respect.”
While Fichera is missing most of this year’s Instagram posts, Dreyer previously wrote “Happy Father’s Day!!” in the June 15 caption, with a family selfie.
NBC's third hour “Today” homes have been cloudy so far. Dreyer's third-hour colleague, Sheinelle Jones's 45-year-old husband, Uche Ojeh, died of aggressive brain cancer in May, and she was out of the air throughout the year.
“We shared this morning our friend’s husband, Uche Ojeh and 'Today’ co-host Sheinelle Jones, who died after a brave fight against a radical brain cancer called Glioblastoma,” Shind Shind Shid Shador Savannah Guthrie shared on May 23.
