DC boss James Gunn shuts down Batman 2 and Teen Titans

  • by admin

With some highly anticipated DC projects, DC Studios co-head James Gunn tried to stop the rumors from spreading too far. In answering questions about the upcoming Batman 2 and Teen Titans movies, Gunn told fans not to believe everything they saw online.

“You've heard of anything from that movie [Teen Titans] Being formed or guessed. No one in the world knows nothing about the concept of this story except four people. ” he wrote on the subject.

Gunn said last week that the DCU Teen Titans script “does not exist” because the project is not a priority for the new superhero series at this time. In March 2024, the District of Columbia announced that Super Girl writer Ana Nogueira is writing the script, but she has been completely focused on Wonder Woman for a while. This means, as Gunn said, nothing is about the stone of the teenage titan, so all the rumors may be wrong.

In another message on the thread, Gunn repeated after fans asked if Hush would be part of Batman 2: “Again, everything you hear is totally guessed or constructed.”

While the Teen Titans are still in their early stages, Batman 2 is expected to arrive in theaters in 2027, with shooting set to begin shortly after multiple delays. Gunn recently said that production of Batman 2 will start “starting now” immediately after the script is finished, with Robert Pattinson returning as a cape crusader.

Teen Titans and the expected Batman sequel are just two of DCU's numerous movies and shows that are now thrilling fans. Gunn recently confirmed that nine more DC projects are underway, including another Batman movie, Brave and Bold, which has yet to announce its protagonist.

The next one for DC Calendar is Peacemaker Season 2, which will be released on August 21 on HBO Max in the US and Sky in the UK. For more information, check out the guide to all the upcoming titles in the DCU Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters and all other upcoming DC movies to show your release radar.
