David Corenswet made his first Steel this summer, and James Gunn's Superman released a lot of positive reviews, but the post did cause all the binge when his self-fan audition went online last Saturday. As one fan pointed out on X: “Why is this better than a movie?
Other users insisted on using Gunn in FIM to “destroy” Corenswet. The second fan wrote: “Oh my goodness, how did Gunn ruin something so kind and wholesome, and Clark looks much better.”
Oh my God
Clark looks much better😭😭

But not everyone judges Gunn’s vision so quickly. “Literally, he looks like Superman with glasses. At least in Gunn Clark, you would suspect he is Superman.” One third came to defend the director.
Gunn revealed earlier this month that he and Corenswet caused heated debate while filming key scenes in the film. Gunn struggled to give a lot of emotional expressions to the speech delivered by the Caped Hero, but Corenswet wasn't quietly sold.
“I feel like I'm my own. When, it's not the moment I went,” Colensweet said in a behind-the-scenes clip shared via X, “I'm wrong.” ”
Gunn replied: “Is this the problem?” There are feelings, there are thoughts. Your feeling is OK. Your feelings are not wrong. You should just, not be right or wrong, and all this is not right or wrong. All of this is right.
“The verdict James said to me at the end of the conversation perfectly illustrates what the character is doing right now and what I should do at that moment.” “I went there, I did it, and that's right.”
Both Gunn and Corenswet addressed their differences on the scene, now crediting the exchange to one of their favorite shooting moments.
