Cold front brings showers and storms

  • by admin

As the front gets closer, there may be several showers in the afternoon and evening, and even thunderstorms may occur. None of these will cause too much rain, and of course there will be no bad weather. When it doesn't rain, we even see a mixture of clouds and sunlight.

For your gardener, don't expect rain, either, as it is so widely spread that most people in the area actually miss the showers altogether.

The second system is the low-voltage zone, which will move eastward at the Cod angle in the first half of Monday. This is one of those small anomaly systems that will bring most of the rainfall to Martha's Vineyard, perhaps in the first half of Monday's Cape Cod. If the system is close enough, there may even be some downpour. These types of summer low pressure areas are not usually predicted by the model because their nature is somewhat unusual, but, nonetheless, those on Cape Cod should expect some uneasiness on Monday.

Monday Night – Beautiful weather start

Night lows will drop in the 1950s for a good sleep weather. Since many communities start school this week, it’s also a bonus to not having high temperatures and humidity when kids return to classrooms.
