A slight change in the official start time of the Clemson Tigers and Louisiana State on Saturday’s top ten showdown was announced Monday night.
In Tiger Sports Time, Dabo Swinney's weekly radio show, host and Clemson radio station Don Munson announced that the game will launch at 7:52 ET.
Clemson-LSU has been listed as a start at 7:30 p.m. for months, but because of network overlap and time windows, games broadcast on ESPN or ABC are often later than their announced tee time, so changes are not uncommon.
Alabama visited Florida at 3:30 PM on the ABC window before Clemson-LSU. ESPN's top college football broadcast teams, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, will appeal in the showdown in Death Valley. Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath will report from the off-site.
Fowler and Herbstreit will call their first game at the Clemson Memorial Stadium since October 1, 2022, when the Tigers beat rival North Carolina in the top 10 showdowns. That was also the last time ESPN's “College Horse Racing” chose Clemson as the host.
Clemson ranked fourth in the top 25 polls in the preseason AP. LSU ranked 9th in the AP poll and the US LBM coach poll.
