Coldplay host Chris Martin made sure they might post a lot of attention on the video screen during the Saturday night show during “Jumbotron Song.”
“We want to say hello to some of you,” Martin said on the stage of Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, according to footage posted on social media. “How we’re going to do that is that we’re going to use the camera and put some of you on the big screen.”
Martin is still playing the guitar and continues to joke, “So, if you haven’t put on makeup yet, put on makeup now.”
Martin issued a warning after last week's Coldplay concert, with the “Jumbotron Song” camera embracing a man and a woman while watching the stage. When they noticed that they were showing on the giant screen in the venue, the two quickly separated and tried to hide their faces.
According to the moment posted on social media, Martin said, “Wow, look at these two.” “Either they have an affair or they are just shy.”
The consequences soon followed after Internet detectives were the first to identify both as Andy Byron, CEO of technology company astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, chief of the company’s chief of human resources at the astronomer, Kristin Cabot.
After that, Byron resigned, the company announced Saturday that Pete Dejoy, co-founder and chief product officer of the astronomer, is now serving as interim CEO.
“Our leaders are expected to set standards in behavior and accountability,” an earlier statement posted on Friday’s LinkedIn page, partially read. It added that the company's board of directors also “has conducted a formal investigation into the matter”.
