Charli XCX and George Daniel are married!
On Saturday, July 19, the 32-year-old “Party 4 U” singer and the 35-year-old drummer married at a ceremony held in London's Hackney Town Hall.
Long-term love keeps their wedding low-key, saying “I’d love” in front of a small group of loved ones, including Charlie’s parents and Daniel’s bandmates (minus lead singer Matty Healy). Photos of the London wedding show the couple smiling on the front steps of the town hall, sharing a kiss.
During the intimate ceremony, Daniel wears a simple suit and Charlie wears a silky, off-shoulder Midi dress and a classic tulle veil, her fireworks are fully displayed. (In real form, she was wearing a pair of short, chunky black sunglasses at some point after leaving the venue.)

Representatives for Charli and Daniel did not immediately respond to people's request for comment on July 19.
this Boy Hitmaker (whose name is Charlotte Aitchison) quietly shared news of her engagement with Daniel in November 2023, first posting her ring on her private Instagram and later revealing their new relationship in a public Instagram post.
Officials announced there were a set of photos of Alt-Pop artists and then-Fiancé hugging, as well as images of tea trays with engagement rings, which hints at how Daniel asked the question.
Charlie wrote in the caption of the post: “Charlie XCX and George Daniel F — Lifetime!!!”

“We did a few things together. He wasn't all, but we had some ideas,” she said of part of the album's collaboration.

Charlie also talked on the podcast about how Daniel and his 1975 band members inspired her to slow down the music production process. “Usually, I'm going to be fast. It used to be part of my process, it's a spontaneous, instinctive thing,” she explained.

But, since watching the 1975 work, she has changed things. “I've definitely adapted to the idea of sitting on songs, recreating things, playing with friends, walking back and forth, living with songs. So it's a way for my process to be perfected,” she said.
When Charlie and Daniel like to work together, she told Rolling Stones UK She could be with him “a bitch like this in the studio”.

She told The Outlet in August 2024: “We wanted to impress each other, we thought we were both very good, but I was in the studio with George.
She added, Daniel: “We have very good flow and he leaves a lot of room for people to breathe, be them and go through the process.”
British musicians first established professional connections in 2021 with the 1975 single “Spin” and the single “Spin” without Rome. While it's not clear when they will start dating, Charlie confirmed their romance on Instagram after Daniel supported her in May 2022 Saturday Night Live That March performance.
