Charlamagne, real name Lenard Larry McKelvey, further noted that Stewart had previously obtained forms for legislation lobbying for bills passed in 2022 to expand health care and state benefits, thus providing responsibilities for military veterans involved in toxins.

CBS recently announced that it would cancel next year's Colbert's “Gallery”. The decision was taken for “economic” rather than “political” reasons, and in the days following Colbert criticized CBS' parent Paramount for agreeing to pay Trump $16 million to resolve the defamation allegations.
Given that the payment is a profitable merger between Paramount and production giant Skydance, which requires approval from the head of the Federal Trade Commission’s Trump appointment, Colbert has said the settlement constitutes a “big fat bribe.”
