Major League Baseball (MLB) launched a special uniform for each team on Monday. The threads in Atlanta and Cincinnati are largely unchanged, except for the details of paying tribute to the unique venues and games.
Jersey figures include bold outlines, shadows and movements designed to represent the design of NASCAR vehicles. The Reds – designated home team – have white numbers instead of the usual red. The Brave will stick to its traditional red color scheme.
Custom numbers are complemented by hats and helmets, with more nods to racing designs. Atlanta hats include red flames on the top of the visor, while Cincinnati hats blow racing flags across the visor.
