LAS VEGAS – Jewell Loyd tied for a season-high 27 points with seven 3-pointers to win the Las Vegas record, with Aces bounced from a loss of 53 points to surpass the Golden State Valkyries 101-77.

In the worst home defeat in WNBA history, Aces were frustrated with the expansionary Valkyries, who won three straight road games after 25 hours after the league-leading Minnesota State beat 111-58 to 111-58.

Las Vegas led 50-25 at halftime, with ACES reserves 25 points while Valkyries' bench scored 2 points. Aces ended the team's record with 18 three-pointers.

Jackie Young scored 20 points for ACES (15-14). A'ja Wilson scored 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Chelsea Gray added 11 points.

Ilana Rupert led Valkyrie with 17 points and 8 rebounds (14-14). Carla Leite and Laeticia Amihere both scored 14 points, while Kaila Charles added 13 points.

A quarter later, ACES led 27-14, 9 shots in 16 shots.

During the second quarter closing ceremony, Janelle Salaun of Golden State was fined twice for knocking Loyd down behind the drama. Salaun was deported, Loyd made a free throw and Kirstan Bell hit the Buzzer's 25-point lead in the middle of the half.
