Anaheim, California (KABC) – The Anaheim community is on the edge when a person is found dead inside a house, triggering a homicide investigation.
According to the sergeant, officials found the man's body Monday afternoon and determined he was killed. Jon McClintock of Anaheim Police Department.
Videos at the scene showed evidence markings, next to it, appearing a drop of blood, making the property's driveway dotted.
Police only said the victim appears to be in his 40s but could not provide information on how he died. However, they did confirm that there has been no arrest yet.
“We hope to provide further information as permitted by the investigation,” McClintock said, adding that there is no danger to the public.
Witness News talked to many neighbors who were afraid of being on the camera. Those who say they rarely see anyone at home.
“I'm not too nosy. It's not my business to do it,” Antoinette Hernandez said. “I just saw people just pulling up in the driveway and they're in and you can't see anyone anymore.”
The uncertainty of what happened was worried some residents.
“It's frustrating to not know what's going on,” said another neighbor, Audrey Lewis.
An investigation is underway.
