There are several former WWE superstars who have a bad memory of working with John Cena.
Former WWE superstar Jack Swagger (Jake Hager) is the closest guest Insights with Chris van Vliet. Asked about rumors that John Cena would not allow him to cash out money in a bank briefcase in 2010, refusing to cash him in order to win the WWE Championship, Swagger confirmed the situation.

“Oh yeah, he absolutely refuses to do that,” Jack Swagger said.
When asked if Cena told him directly, Swagger said he was told what happened.
“I was told that this is what happened,” Jack Swagger said. “Because the original plan was that I was going to beat him on Raw on Monday night, not teasing. But I was a young man. I've been there for a coffee, so what should you do?
“But I'm not the only one who did it; he did it all his career. I was surprised to see what happened to him and the truth lately because usually he tried to bring glory. But I feel like this time, he's a guy who said we'd better get along with the truth and get him back here.”
