Another Monday series opener, another Spencer Strider started, this time against the Miami Marlins.
The last time we talked about Strider and his appearance on the mound, he made only three innings, gave up seven runs, had 10 hits in total and only 2 strikeouts.
This led to the White Sox defeating the Braves in its series opener.
Not only has fans been disappointed, but he has shown frustration several times since his performance has declined.
Will everything change his night tonight?
In Mark Bowman’s article for MLB.com, Strider comments on his fastball and how he can’t direct the area as he knows.
Plus, his slider is a valid pitch, but he doesn't help when he falls behind or doesn't deceive the batsman.
Although his speed has risen, the results have not been shown yet.
In short, he explained that he only had to adjust some of his movements to stay in touch with his court and was better overall.
For brave fans, let's hope these adjustments are for the opening match against the Fish tonight.
A familiar face will face the Braves to start the series.
Edward Cabrera faced the team's starting team in eighth place this month, going deep into eight innings and winning (5-1) after giving up just one run and 11 strikeouts.
He needs to go all out and attack the area with a solid court in his arsenal.
Currently with 3.52 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, the Braves will need to upgrade in all areas, starting with pitching and then making effective cricket appearances to avoid a repeat of history in Florida.
It seems simple…right?
Well, in this game, nothing is there.
What striptease will we get tonight, and the striking bats will appear on the Brave tonight?
