Jessica Pegula is one of a star-studded mixed doubles lineup who held a celebration of the U.S. Open earlier this week.
And now, she will hope to imitate her heroism in last year’s single, where she made the finals and was beaten by Aryna Sabalenka.
The American's form is scattered and some do not believe it, but her talent is undeniable.
Not only that, she is still a great speaker, who held a long and insightful press conference to preview her return to the U.S. Open.
Speaking of her chances and any changes she had made to the tour, her focus eventually turned to the Grand Slam.
Jessica Pegula asks us to open for changes
A journalist has been trying to comment on the proposed changes that will be open to the United States in the coming years on the subject of change.
Not surprisingly, just from the Cincinnati Open event, Jessica Pegula just poured in $200 million in development.

The 29-year-old claimed: “No, I think it's definitely necessary. I think the U.S. Open has grown up. It's busy. It's packed. This week and next week, the first week, there are a lot of people.
“Yes, I've heard of these updates. Something different they want to do I know it's been a few more years, but I think it's definitely needed. I think they need some space and it's hard to get out here, but I see the new building they're building and I think it's time, you know.
“I don't know if I'm going to miss what we have right now. I think there's nostalgia, too. I think it's time to do a refurbishment. They're working on it now. Hopefully it's really good, the pictures look really good.”
Among the largest single investment in U.S. opening history, USTA announced plans in May to modernize Arthur Ashe Stadium while also creating the most advanced player performance center.
What does Jessica Pegula say about the mixed doubles format of the US Open?
As mentioned earlier, Pegula teamed up with Jack Draper, part of the revolutionary hybrid doubles format built by the U.S. Open.
And, while it certainly caused a lot of controversy, it was also a huge success in terms of interest in a format that was often overlooked.
After Pegula was eliminated in the semifinals, she and the number one person in the UK said: “I had a great time. I mean, obviously, it helps when you win a few games and you played for a night on Ashe. I feel honestly sadder than the singles. I feel like I feel a little bit letting him go a little.
“But, other than that, I really want to play another game. I had a great time. Like, we got along well. I wish we could be there for the finish line.
“But I had a great time. I said nothing. I liked it.”
She even seemed to defend at some point when Pegula scolded Draper for posting the contest to the “exhibition”.
It seems that she, along with nearly every single star involved, got contented and impressed by getting out of the game.
