Star Wars actor Katee Sackhoff said her experience with the Mandalorian was largely unable to work after understanding her role influenced her confidence.
Sackhoff plays Bo-Katan Kryze, the Warrior Princess of Mandalorian, republishes her role in the reality show for nearly a decade in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the series Star Wars: The Rebels and Empires of the Empire: The Clone Wars), republishing her role in the reality show.
Sackhoff's role as a guest star for Mandalorian's second season, became important throughout the third run – although it's unclear whether or when or when fans will see Kryze again.
“I lost all my confidence after the Mandalorian,” Sakhoff said in a video posted to her YouTube channel. “My acting style has always been, 'Your first instinct is the right instinct. Do that. Play the reality of the situation.' And I've never really played a role.
“Do you know what I mean?” Sakhoff continued: “In a sense, I have been disengaging from myself two steps. In some parts of my abdomen, I feel rooted in my identity. Bo-katan is far from being as human. Her life, what she wants, what I want, I don't know her. I never understand her, like I never recognize her on my belly. I don't know her. I don't know her.
After playing Bo-Katan Kryze since 2012, these comments are now interesting and have heard this from Sackhoff now, although previously only through Voice-Over.
Mandalorian's Bo-Katan Kryze gets her deserved action figure
“It disappointed me,” Sakhoff continued. “It just made me feel uneasy and I began to doubt everything about myself. I wasn't a strong man on the tape and I had to put myself on the tape. I had no reservations. I had basically no job for three years. It just ruined my confidence.”
Next, the Mandalorian himself will appear in the upcoming Star Wars movie Mandalor and Gro, although no Kate Sackhof's words are back. Maybe we will meet her again with Boba Fett in a few years, taking on Dave Filoni's New Republic Hero Team-Up Movie, which will complete the story of the Mandalorian and Ahsoka's wider role in a few years.
Meanwhile, Sakhoff will be seen next in a new adaptation of Stephen King’s horror classic Carrie, horror legend Mike Mike Flanagan turns it into the Amazon Prime Minister series.
