Tom Brady's Fox broadcast schedule starts in Washington, Kansas City and Chicago: Source

The second year of Tom Brady's broadcast experience will begin in the U.S. capital.

Fox's top NFL teams – Brady, Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi – will call the New York Giants during the Washington Commander game on the first Sunday of the regular season, September 7, ET. The following week, the crew will be in Kansas City for one of Fox’s biggest early season games – a Super Bowl Lix rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chiefs.

Not announced yet, but the team is expected to compete in Week 3 between the Dallas Cowboys and the Bears in Chicago, a source who introduced Fox Sports' NFL program, who spoke on condition of anonymity as the network has not made any public public offerings yet.

Before the schedule was released, Fox asked the NFL to offer more variety in the team in the Sunday window at 4:25 pm ET. Fox has long relied on late afternoon windows (the most watched period on TV), but this year’s Fox schedule tends toward more teams later in the afternoon, including the Hawks Chiff in Week 2.

“I think CBS has actually had a good success because their first doubles have been week 2 in the last few years, so we’re asking to get out of week 1 doubles,” Mike Mulvihill, head of insights and analysis at Fox Sports, told sports Earlier this year. “It’s good for a single header, and we’re going back to the real special game of the year (Philadelphia in Kansas City).

FOX's Week 2 game should build the network with its first large ratings number. The 40-22-raved Super Bowl Lix broadcast in Philadelphia attracted 127.7 million viewers from Fox, Fox, Fox Deport Park, Tooby, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL Digital Properties, the most popular Super Bowl of all time, a record Super Bowl of 123.7 million viewers from CBS last year.
