Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. – As Milwaukee County is still under river flood warning, new images show the devastating effects of historic rainfall over the weekend.

While the family is still inside, a house begins to collapse.
Mai Vang, who lives on the northwest side of Milwaukee, said floods poured into the basement around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. After a moment, she heard her home start to break down.

She and her daughter escaped before the foundation entered the basement.
Outside, 60th Street is completely covered with water. The car was almost flooded, and Vang said she helped people escape the vehicle.

“We all started walking to the gas station, just because it was a higher level,” Vang said. “Families can't rescue because the water is everywhere, and they're like, we can't get through. But we can't sit here because we're going to freeze to death – we're all soaked.”
The Vang family is now with relatives, who are working with many others in Milwaukee to try to recover what they can recover and figure out what's next.
“I don't even know what to do,” Feng said. “We lost everything, we just wanted to save our powers – but we were just thanking the Lord, and each of us was alive.”
