After years of fan expectations – and many nostalgic meme promotions – early reports suggest that Disney is quietly developing the third part of the beloved camp series, about 15 years after 2010's Camp Rock 2: The Last Jam. While the official announcement remains confidential, speculation has been strengthened after Lovato recently followed the Jonas brothers to Instagram. Fans on X claim she may have reached a deal with Disney to reprise the role of Mitchie Torres and join the Gray Brothers.
The plot details are very little, but if the whisper is real, the film will be the first time since the Disney Channel era to party on the screen of the Lovato and the Jonas brothers.
How many years does Disney Channel have to do
The friendship between Lovato and the Jonas Brothers began in the Disney Channel era when they starred together on Camp Rock, toured together, and collaborated on Lovato's debut album. Their bond brought them through personal and professional highs and lows (including the Jonas brothers’ interruptions and Lovato’s own struggles), and Nick even joined Lovato during his rest in his personal career.
