“He made things happen on the court,” Valderley said. “He was active. He played hard. He had a good, short, compact, strong swing. He did nothing except since he signed, but he performed well. I'm so glad to bring him back there.”
After the twins were designated as a mission on Saturday, the twins claimed rescuer Brooks Kriske was exempted from the Cubs. In four games against Chicago, Kriske scored six innings with four strikeouts.
The 31-year-old also plays for the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals.
Relief Darren McCaughan was called by St. Paul on Monday but without pitching, and was designated to make room for Kriske in the 40-man lineup.
Chrisker is expected to report to the twins on Wednesday. Relief Noah Davis has been selected for St. Paul after giving up three innings in a loss to Detroit on Monday.
