Summerslam Night 2 shows off the latest part of John Cena’s retirement journey as he held the undisputed WWE Championship at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey to run against former champion holder Cody Rhodes.
After the marathon, Rhodes won the championship from legend Cena. After the game, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE and transported the F-5 to the shocked Cena.
That was the last game of the 2 championship games in the evening. Later, Solo Sikoa surpassed Jacob Fatu in a steel cage match to retain the U.S. title, while Dominik Mysterio won the AJ style, maintaining the Intercontinental title in the men's Intercontinental Championship.
