Green Bay Packers have signed CB Cory Barentine And released CB Gregory junior. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the deal on Monday.
(Bal-en-tine) Ballentine is in the Packers’ practice lineup and the active roster in 2022-24. In his three seasons at Green Bay, he played 37 regular season games, and played seven playoff games and three playoff games. In 2023, Ballentine set a career high in tackles (39), solo tackles (27), passing (7) (seven) and registering for his first professional interception. He was originally selected by the New York Giants at the 2019 NFL Draft in Washburn University, Kansas. Barentin has played for the Giants (2019-20), the New York Jets (2020), and the Detroit Lions (2021), and has spent some time with the Atlanta Falcons, the Arizona Cardinal and the Indianapolis Colts. He will wear a number 35 for the packer.
