Demi Lovato is back and ready to live on the fast lane.
this Children's Stars The director gave up on her latest single “Fast” Thursday night, the first of her upcoming ninth studio album.
Lovato teased the track on social media earlier this month before officially announcing its arrival. In an Instagram video in mid-July, the singer actress sang with the lyrics of the track, singing: “Because honestly / I just want to be where I want / I want to be / I want to be / Only tonight / Now.”
Lovato released an accompanying music video on the track, and while singing, she can be seen running through a pile of burning cars: “I want to be quick/I want to work hard/I want to go anywhere, anywhere, you are anywhere.”
Titled “Fast”, the single Marks Lovato returns to the pop genre after scoring Rock on previous records Holy FVCK. Her ninth album will be produced by music producer Zhone, who works with Kesha, Troye Sivan and Charli XCX.
Zhone told Rolling stones. “She's a master in the studio. This album is about letting go of the inhibitory effect, making music is very fun! It's really all over the whole process.”

Lovato recently ended with Jordan “Jutes” Lutes earlier this year.
