A source told MLB.com Wednesday night that the Astronauts acquired infielder Ramon Urias from the Orioles. The club has not confirmed the deal.
Baltimore's sell-off ahead of the 6 p.m. trade deadline on Thursday continues, with others like Ryan O'Hearn and Cedric Mullins still moving candidates.
Astronauts can insert Urías into their infield mixture, where they need in-depth help in multiple positions due to injuries to Jeremy Peña and Isaac Paredes.
During his six-year career, the 31-year-old Urías has experience in every infield position. He beat .248/.300/.388 in eight home runs in 77 games this year and played two games against Toronto on Tuesday.
