The camp has started around the NFL, and our team of reporters are on the ground every day after all the moves. The Washington Commander Camp will be held in Ashburn, Virginia, with journalist John Keim having the latest Intel standouts, highlights, position wars, depth charting movements, cut decision making and of course the quarterback room.
Next is everything we see and hear in the Commander's Camp. We will frequently update this file with the latest updates. What can Von Miller bring? What happened to recipients Terry McLaurin and quarterback Jayden Daniels. Who is going to watch the breakthrough, especially fantasy football? Which players on the roster can be the last 53?
Let's get involved and make sure to continue checking for more information until the first week of the preseason start on August 7.
Camp update for all 32 teams
The latest news from the Commander's Battalion
Tuesday, July 29
Washington's defense continues to give it offensive problems in training camp. One key reason: secondary. The coverage of the press in Washington is much better than last year’s team, which allows the commanders to successfully play a role.
This leads to many failed fading routes when the current department issues pressure. Scopes are not consistently created for separation, including security.
There was no receiver Terry McLaurin who performed well on these routes, and this was clearly affected. And they are not stressful game plans. But this suggests that the defense believes this season may be more aggressive, as improved corner games can be long enough to put out more pressure.

Rookie Tackle Josh Conerly Jr. worked on the left and right sides Tuesday morning. He played on the left side of Oregon, but here Laremy Tunsil, Conerly's near future is on the right side. He is still spinning with veteran Andrew Wylie on the right tackle.
-
Recipients announced that Samuel Sr. provided an offensive highlight. On a slot machine, he crossed the corner Mike Sainristil and grabbed the grab on Jayden Daniels' throw. The only warning in the drama: If it was a real game, Daniels could be fired.

Washington signed Samuel Sr. to provide what he had in San Francisco: a versatile offensive chess piece that he could break tackles and run after the catch.
The commander moved him away during the offense, aligned him in different regions and had him carry him sometimes. Samuel scored a five-yard touchdown from Jayden Daniels on Monday in a perfect pass in the corner of the end zone – he swung the ball.
Samuel has also been back in the tee and paired with Austin Ekeler. Coach Dan Quinn said he loves the energy Samuel brings – Samuel calls himself a “high energy guy.” He regained his energy after being traded to Washington during the offseason. “I have a lot left in my tank,” he said.
-
The defensive line still looks strong. End Dorance Armstrong had a good start at the camp – he had more relocations than last year and sometimes rushed to stand up.
-
This is the first time the mat is coming out. There was no live tackle, but a nice pop happened when running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt broke into the line and was wrapped in safety Tyler Owens. Croskey-Merritt will be watched in the preseason.

There was a reason Washington had a good offense later last season. The Commander did a lot of work at the end of the season – one reason for a 9-4 in a single point game. It was once again obvious on Sunday – which helped end a fight for an offense that was plagued by two consecutive approaches to the Department of Defense.
In this exercise, Washington's offense began with the ball at the 40-yard line, with 30 seconds left, 6 behind. That was where rookie catcher Jaylin Lane beat three defensive backs and hit the feet locally. This is the highlight of the day.

Slot Corner Mike Sainristil has a strong camp after having similar springs. During full-line training, he intercepted the middle pass after grabbing a tilted ball on Friday. Sainristil isn't a big 182 pound man, but his size is bigger than his size, which is obvious when he faces catcher Samuel Sr.

It was obvious at the camp that Washington wanted to move its defensive formation around this camp, especially along the line.
The commander will offer a variety of looks – sometimes lined up in Louis’s defenders Frankie Luvu and Jacob Martin are next to each other, while von Miller on the other side. They used the final Armstrong in the pass. They ended up with tackle Javon Kinlaw to align three shelves.
They lack rulers, but coach Dan Quinn said: “I’m like having a bunch of people who can be versatile and do things.”
-
Cornerback Mike Sainristil continues to have a strong camp. On Friday's first pass, he grabbed the Jayden Daniels pass originally fined by safety Quan Martin. He often works in slots with receiver Deebo Samuel and shows physical abilities.
-
Defender Bobby Wagner also intercepted Daniels in later 7-on-7 practices, dropped into the middle and grabbed the pass. Safety Tyler Owens picked Marcus Mariota (two games after Sainristil's interception).

One of the reasons Washington wants to sign Stormtrooper Von Miller is because he may have an impact on other players. He should have a huge help to Washington's best passer Frankie Luvu. Luvu said he had learned Miller's pass moves because he felt like his game was very similar to him.
What Washington likes is that Miller is still versatile – coach Dan Quinn said he can reach out from above or by his hands. He can perform stunts. Luvu can also be released, and can come from more places besides the edge, which may make him a more effective blitz.
“I just like having a bunch of people who can work hard and do things,” Quinn said. “I also like the details of him as a pass sprint.”
Also note: Quinn gave Miller a leave the next day at the camp. Their goal is to keep him healthy and productive throughout the season.

QB Jayden Daniels made a great profit by running back from the right side with a nice check on the running phone in the 11-on-11 race. There is no mat, so it's always hard to say what the back would do, but the check leads to the action, which puts the defender in a worse position – and causes him to be blocked. Unleashing the running Kazmeir Allen and gained a good return.

Commander coach Dan Quinn said that while most players have made great progress in the first-year-old game, quarterback Jayden Daniels has made a leap in the season. Quinn said Daniels is improving efficiency and the more defensive he faces, which speeds up his decision-making.
Daniels said the offseason focus is improving his footwork.
“Get to where I can throw more accurately,” Daniels said.
And, indeed, he showed them on the first pass in his 11-on-11 job. He made a 25-yard pass to new receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. and made a slot fade for a touchdown. Defensive back Tyler Owens reported well but was beaten by a perfect pass.
-
Like the spring, it's no surprise that young rookie Josh Conerly Jr., because Quinn will win him a job—like he did last year when he didn't hand over the QB job to Daniels.
-
Linebacker Von Miller will wear 24 in Washington, and he participated in several passes with sales rep with Conerly. Although the rookie finally anchored, he was able to bring Conerly back. Another time, Conerly maintains external leverage to eliminate rush. Otherwise, the Quick Pass negates any opportunity for stress.
