Herbig spent the final two seasons with the Steelers but had no matches in 2024 after a rotator cuff injury. Herbig played 17 games for the Steelers in 2023, and he started 11 games on Guard in 2022.

The Hawks signed Herbig in 2019 as an undrafted free agent, starting 17 of his 33 games in Philadelphia.
