Marlin 7-4 Brewers (July 26, 2025) Game Review

Milwaukee – Heriberto Hernandez beat Miami Marlins 7-4 on Saturday night to beat the Milwaukee brewers 7-4.

Agustín Ramírez and Dane Myers also won the Marlins for the fourth time in a row.

Janson Junk (5-2) allowed 3 runs and eight hits in five innings. Tyler Phillips scored four innings for his first career save. He allowed three hits, including Andrew Vaughn's eighth home run – the ninth solo.

Vaughn doubled his lead against the second place against Trash and advanced to third on Isaac Collins' single. Brice Turang hit and Collins was arrested, but Caleb Durbin led 1-0 with two points. Durbin was abandoned and tried to steal to end the game.

Dane Myers led third in a single against Jose Quintana (7-4) before stealing his 15th base. Javier Sanoja's RBI was 1-1 but was abandoned by center guard Jackson Chourio in an attempt to triple his shooting percentage.

Ramírez led fourth with his 15th home run, leading 2-1.

Chourio extended his winning streak to 19 games with a doubles lead to the brewer's fourth place. Collins and Tulang led 3-2 back to back double-double.

Sanoja made a mistake for the second time at Turang, started the fifth time and was ahead of schedule on Xavier Edwards single. Quintana retired before Hernandez led the fourth home run 5-3. Quintana allowed five runs – two gains – seven hits in five innings.

Kyle Stowers led Grant Anderson in sixth-place doubles, and Myers won his fifth home run 7-3.
