The latest news from Camp Bill

Sunday, July 27

Bills ended Sunday's practice with a period in the red zone, with wide receiver Tyrell Shavers playing a touchdown against rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston in the final game. At the end of the attack, Heston had a slight contact with the razor. The razor rolled to the ground and grabbed his right ankle in obvious pain. The athletes quickly surrounded the razors and joined the team as they evaluated. The razor was taken away on the field at the back of the shopping cart. Sources said the razor was “well done” and had a low ankle sprain.

“[Shavers] “It ran a shallow water route. That's just us competing. I'm a corner and don't want the catcher to catch the ball.”

Shavers, who was on the team practice squad last season, is hosting a strong training camp for a 53-man squad. Hairston said corner coach Jahmile Addae communicated with him after the game, “Just smart. We know we're in practice, but at the end of the day, we're competing, but this is our teammates. Be smart when it's over.”

The injury to the receiver was one of the early camp themes. Curtis Samuel missed exercises with a hamstring injury. Samuel began Friday's practice attendance, but then attended a large number of meetings. Recipient Elijah Moore is also dealing with general leg aches.

  • Linebacker Terrel Bernard also missed Sunday's exercises with a hamstring injury.

  • Taron Johnson spent a veteran's day off.

  • De AJ Epenesa (ankle) returned to practice on Sunday after a few days of absence.

First safe Taylor Rapp intercepted in a 7-on-7 training session with quarterback Josh Allen, beating another Allen during the team.

“[Rapp’s] To put the body down,” said cornerback Trevis White. “As you can see, he shouldn't die. He can play, he can talk, he will be there every game. Definitely a resilient person. ”

Michael Hoecht, the free agent’s addition defensive end, noted that it still existed in the early days of training camp in the camp, and the limitations of what the defender could do made it difficult to make mistakes difficult to make mistakes, however, stressed that there is no excuse. For the Bills team, which ranked third in the league in takeaway last season,[Takeaways are] “It will be a point, and it will be the focus of the whole season,” Hoecht said.

“Hard knock” can be seen in training camp for two days, and players and coaches will definitely notice it. Quarterback Josh Allen looked at what he said and said he would “try not to cheat a lot. I mean, I know it's HBO, so I'm sure it's going there. Meanwhile, you know, you know, just make sure, I know, I know, my mom, I said my mom will be fine everything.”

Left tackle Dion Dawkins welcomed the extra attention the show would get when it premiered on August 5 and said Thursday that he liked the camera.

Coach Sean McDermott also pointed to the motivation to get extra attention. “They saw us on the day of the game and now they have the opportunity to see what we do on Sunday is exactly what we do Monday to Saturday,” McDermott said. “And I think it's cool stuff. The added noise can be a good exercise in some way if you want to, and we really hone and focus and focus our attention where we need it.”

  • De AJ Epenesa and LB Dorian Williams left the practice early due to injury. Neither of them knows the severity.

  • Epenesa also participated in a brief moment when he punched rookie tight-fitting Jackson Hawes in the helmet when Hawes continued to push the defender after the game while Dawkins fell to the ground. Fist has no revenge or greater battle.

  • On a tough first day in most of the red zone, generous receiver Keon Coleman improved on the second day of training camp. Coleman's offense rate increased by several days from Allen's game from November 11. His continued progress over a longer period of time is monitored.

Bills’ first boot camp featured a full-time participatory running by James Cook, thus continuing his trend from the mandatory mini boot camp. Cook seeks contract extensions in the final year of his rookie deal. Instead of providing any latest information on the negotiations, General Manager Brandon Beane reaffirmed the team's “love” for Cook.

“Sometimes you can't get to the same page, or sometimes you want to fit in with it. Sometimes people do want it here. We just can't make it work. But I can tell you that when we sit here at next year's boot camp, James Cook is there to practice and still stands for red, white and blue.”

  • The wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. did not participate in the practice due to lower legs.

  • Defensive end Joey Bosa said limiting his calf injury during offseason work is “no longer a problem”. Bosa added: “I felt good a few weeks ago, so I was able to train very hard in an offseason.”

Bill Veterans reported the camp Tuesday before Wednesday’s first practice. When the player accepts the body, many transactions are made. Dawson Knox's tight end was placed on the non-football injury list, while the correct tackle Spencer Brown and offensive lineman Sedrick Van Pran-Granger were placed on the physically unspoken (PUP) list, meaning all three missed some practice.

With these injuries in mind, in addition to catcher David White Jr., the tight end Matt Sokol was signed with squads, while bettor Jake Camarda and wide receiver Kelly Akharaiyi were also released. The only bettor on the roster is Brad Robbins.

  • James Cook ran back James Cook did report to the team's veterans as planned as he expected to do it during a small training camp. His attendance is in a desire to extend his contract. Cook completely participated in the team's mandatory training camp.
