Oxnard, Calif. – When Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones spoke to the crowd before Saturday’s practice, many fans yelled some fashion about “pay mica!”.
Yes, Jones heard the desire to sign Micah Parsons to sign a contract.
“I heard light voices, but not comparable to the way I heard them say them. [last year]”It's a faint voice compared to the way last year's roar, 'pay lamb'. …Whoever isn't there, you can count on some liars. But it's a loud bang on the lamb last year,” Jones said on Sunday about last year's Ceedee Lambs.
The Cowboys finally signed a $136 million contract signed by the Lambs in late August as the Cowboys returned to the star in Frisco, Texas, from Oxnard's summer house.
Jones was asked if the Parsons talks were updated after the group signed a four-year contract on Sunday, which signed a four-year contract on Sunday.

“Really, I don't have any comments at all,” Jones said. “Just have no comments.”
Executive Vice President Stephen Jones said the Cowboys will have all Parsons discussions internally. But he also heard fans on Saturday.
“It won't change anything,” he said. “We want to pay for the Mika, too. He has to pay for it, too.”
The Cowboys' talks with Ferguson were aggravated training camp shortly before reaching a deal Saturday night that included a $30 million guarantee and a $12 million signing bonus.
“People said, 'Oh, there are other attractions.' “I remember sitting down, [thinking]“I don’t want to be anywhere else.” It’s great to play here. From the very beginning, wearing this star has always been an honor. ”
Ferguson won a fourth-round draft pick in 2022, earning 149 catches and seven touchdowns in 47 games. His best season was in 2023, when he scored 71 yards and 761 yards and five touchdowns and was added to the Pro Bowl of George Kittle in San Francisco.
Ferguson and Jason Witten are the only endings in the team's history, recording two more than 50 seasons in their first three seasons. Last season, Ferguson scored 59 passes for 494 yards but failed to reach a touchdown. He suffered a twist from the MCL in his season opening win, and the Cleveland Browns have limited him for most of the first half of the season. In the second half of the season, he missed two games due to a concussion.
“We certainly appreciate not only his life in our career, it's not only the player we want, but he's also a leader,” said Jerry Jones. “His work really adds juice to everyone. It's a consensus of all his teammates and coaches. So we're so happy to have him. He has a home in his career.”
Ferguson isn't the only home the Cowboys want to do for their career.
In addition to Parsons, the Cowboys have other players who want to expand, such as left-back Tyler Smith, who signed a contract in 2026, cornerback Daron Bland and potential receiver George Pickens. Pro Bowl kicker Brandon Aubrey will be a restricted free agent after the season.
A football axiom is for takeaway. Can it bring new deals to the cowboys?
“They can,” Stephen Jones said. “I mean we obviously have a lot to do. You really don't like talking about them before you finish it. I'll tell you about this deal [Ferguson] It may have been done before the camp begins. However, you can only click all i and then go over all T. Everyone has to feel comfortable and then you go from there. ”
