Before joining ESPN, Cornette was a Chicago Bear reporter for Fox 32. She hosted her weekly sports show, “Bear Release.” Additionally, she has worked on the Big Ten Network of ABC 7 and Chicago grocery stores.
Initially, Cornette helped ESPN as the host of its college sports coverage. Due to her work ethics, she was eventually promoted to the host of “SportsCenter”. From time to time, she is filled as the host of the “first attack”. That was when Molly Qerim was not there.
As part of ESPN's “50 State in 50 Days” tour, Cornett watched the Green Bay Packers during the opening camp with Ryan Clark this Friday in Wisconsin.

Although Cornette is a Bears fan, she is willing to wear the color of Green Bay on enemy territory.
Cornette apologized to Bears fans ahead of this Friday's version of “SportsCenter”. Whether they will forgive her is not clear.
