Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, renamed Daddy Lumba, was born on September 29, 1964. His father, Owoahene Kwadwo Fosuh, was a teacher who died when Lumba was just a child.
Education and early music development
Daddy Lumba's music career began at the age of 16. He led the Juaben High School Choir from 1983 to 1984, during which time Christabel was a music teacher, who completed his studies in 1985.

During Juaben SHS, Lumba formed the Lumba Brothers Group with his friends Yaw and Kwabena and his girlfriend Theresa Abebrese.
Career starting point: The Age of the Lomba Brothers
In 1989, Daddy Lumba became the Ghanaian music industry through his debut album “Yereye Aka Akwantuo Mu”. The song depicts the number of immigrants from Ghana who initially traveled abroad, resonating with the lives of many Ghanaians and diaspora.
