Rapper Nicki Minaj contacted Florida Senator Anna Paulina Luna allegedly threatened DJs and streamers to deal with the assistance made by SZA’s social media beef.
Mackwop, a partner at record label Top Dawg Entertainment, caused a dispute during the live broadcast, telling Minaj: “Hey, Nicky, relax, relax, relax, and then put it in the blender like a boy.” SZA signed under TDE.
Minaj's real name is Onika Maraj-Petty, reposted a live clip on Thursday, writing: “Is this a threat?” She tagged the FBI in the post.
She wrote in a follow-up post: “@mackwop Are you just threatening to hurt me? @fbi, I want to investigate this person right away.”
According to the complex, McWop could have referred to the dispute between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, who is like Minaj.
However, the “Super Bass” rapper didn't comment easily and made a postal post, convicted of rapper Megan thee in 2020, who was previously called for the release of rapper Tory Lanez's headlines.
“@repluna This guy is just publicly threatening me,” Minaj said. “I've notified the FBI and the CIA. I hope this thug is locked up and I'm ready to talk about what these guys have done to me.”
Luna says she will help Mina.
“It's OK to confirm that I spoke directly to @nickiminaj and will do everything I can to ensure her safety,” the Republican congresswoman said. “We attach great importance to the threat of violence and assassination. Rico is also illegal. I'm very worried about unrestricted corruption in some aspects of the rap industry. Artists should be respected without fear of managers, labels, etc.”
According to the Complex, Minaj made some pokes on Sza earlier this week, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe while following Dawg Entertainment founder Punch. In a lengthy, vulgar post on Thursday X, Minaj claimed she was initially asked to appear on Drake's song “Rich Baby Daddy” instead of SZA.
“He wants me and sexy. I still have the version of Just Drake & Sexy,” she said. She refers to rapper Sexyy Red, who also appears in the song.
The two continued to walk back and forth, and Minaj called Sza the “Joker”.
NBC News contacted Minaj and Sza's representatives but did not hear it immediately.
