We love making ina garten recipes in our own kitchen, especially light summer dishes such as warm lobster rolls or vegetable cold dishes. It seems like Garten always cooks something delicious on social media, and her famous friends, including Jennifer Garner, are as excited as we follow the lead character of Contessa and try out the new recipes she posted. What’s more, from Caprese salad to skillet roasted chicken and potatoes, many of Garten’s recipes can be shared, making her meals perfect for dinner and even your next book club meeting.
In a recent Instagram post, Garten mentioned fans who are reading her 2024 memoir, Be prepared for luckwith their book club and then make food at the actual book club meeting. (Can we invite these book clubs?) “The menu is hard because you have to figure out how all the flavors, textures and colors come together,” Garten said in her post. “For simplicity, this is my recipe menu that can be assembled very well.”
Garten's ideal book club menu is simply amazing visually. And, on the table there are melons and prosciutto (also a favorite of the famous pianist liberals) and the joy of Tomato Crostini and Tomato Crostini, and on the table there are flowers of feta that will certainly be delicious. This is what’s on Garten’s ideal Book Club Potluck dinner menu.
Snacks and sips
Garten started her beautiful book club menu with tomato Crostini and fresh feta, a dish you can bring to the next canned one, as tomatoes can reduce the risk of heart disease, prevent cancer, and improve eye and skin health. She also recommends using a plate of cantaloupe and prosciutto (Garten's recipe can be found in her recipes, Attend dinner) and summer cocktails are the cosmopolitan made of fresh lemon juice, lemon dioxide, cranberry juice, vodka and a little raw egg white.
main course
Once the mix is over, you are ready to discuss Garten’s memoir, and the celebrity chef suggests roasted lemon chicken satellite, an ideal main course for a social gathering because it’s easy to eat, not to mention that chicken is an important source of protein that satisfyes you and your guests. Next comes the Moroccan-inspired couscous with delicious Pignoli nuts and currants, some thin-plate pancakes baked broccoli and Emily Blunt’s recipe for crispy, British-roasted Yukon gold potatoes. This is a light and delicious dinner that is perfect for chatting with good friends.
dessert
For the last (sweetest) class, Garten suggests Raspberry Crumble Bars, filled with delicious Raspberry jam, granola and almonds. This sounds cute to us, especially since raspberries can help boost cardiovascular health and reduce inflammation. Garten also added some “outrageous” brownies and comes with two chocolates, instant coffee and crispy chopped walnuts (perfect for gut and brain health). Garten said for the last sweet treat, put a bowl of Anne cherries on the ice for guests to enjoy. Similar to Rainer cherry, the Queen's pink color and sweetness are. And, because cherries can do everything from lower inflammation to promote better sleep, they are not a good way to end up with an evening.
Garten’s charming menu lets us plan our next summer dinner, book club party or ladies’ night, and we can’t wait. From delicious appetizers to that cold fresh cherry, there is nothing you don't like for this portable, beautiful entertainment menu.
